Ingredients:
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
6 tbsp cocoa
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp white vinegar
¾ cup canola oil
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups hot water
Directions:
Sift first 5
ingredients together in an increased 9x13 pan. ( I don’t sift
and it comes out fine)
Make 3 wells and in
each hole place the next 3 ingredients.
Pour 2 cups of water
over top. Mix with a fork or whisk.
Bake @ 350 for 30-35
minutes.
Tips…. When mixing I
use a spoon in the corners to make sure all the wet mixes with
the dry. After mixing put in oven immediately. One time I got
distracted and my cake was like cement.
Variation… Instead of adding the cocoa add cinnamon and nutmeg. My
kids love it!
