Baked Orange Pecan French

Ingredients:
5 eggs
1 cup orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
8 1/2-inch-thick bread slices
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
Grease a 10x15 pan (jelly roll pan or cookie sheet with sides work well).
Beat together eggs, juice, sugar, vanilla, and nutmeg.
Arrange bread in a single layer in the pan, top with egg
mixture. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with pecans, and
bake 10 minutes more. Serves 3-4. Top with Orange
Syrup.
